John 14:1-3: "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."

Juan Antonio Hernandez, age 70, entered into rest on June 26, 2025, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on July 13, 1954, in Del Rio, Texas. Juan proudly served as a TxDOT supervisor for Kinney County and Val Verde before his retirement. A devoted father, he was a man filled with joy and a deep passion for building and creating. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents. Elias Hernandez and Elena Hernandez.

Family surviving, he cherishes his memory are his. His two children: Juan Antiono Hernandez Jr. and Dulse Yesenia Silva and her husband Daniel Silva; his three brothers: Jesus M. Hernandez, Guadalupe Hernandez and his wife Rosi Hernandez, Elias Hernandez Jr.; three sisters: Isabel Navarrette, Hermila Burgos, Nicolasa H. Barrera, Carmen H. Guerrero and her husband Manuel Guerrero.

Pallbearers: Juan Antonio Hernandez Jr., Dulse Yesenia Silva, Guadalupe Hernandez, Manuel Guerrero, Omar Hernandez, Daniel Silva; Honorary Pallbearers: Jesus M Hernandez, Elias Hernandez, David Rodriguez Carillo

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 509 W. Garza St, Del Rio, Texas.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
