Josefina H. Carbajal, age 89, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on February 26, 1929 in Brady, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Agapito Carbajal; parents Nieves and Socorro Hernandez; and numerous sisters and brothers. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Agapito Carbajal, Jr., Hector Carbajal, Ricardo Carbajal, Jose Alberto Carbajal, Jose Angel Carbajal and Homero Carbajal; daughters Guillermina Cardenas and Cynthia Carbajal; brother Guillermo Hernandez; sisters Maria De La Luz Alvarez and Josefina Socorro Hernandez; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Ricardo Carbajal, Jr., Rolando Carbajal, Agapito Carbajal, Jr., Jose Angel Carbajal, Jose Alberto Carbajal, and Hector Carbajal. Honorary Pallbearers are Gerardo Carbajal and Arnold Gomez, III. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
