Jose Luis Perez Sr. (Joe), age 71, a longtime resident of Brackettville, entered into rest on Sunday, July 7, 2024.

Joe was born on October 10,1952, in Cuidad Acuna, Mexico to Jorge and Sara Perez. He graduated from Brackettville High School, and he went to enlist in the U.S. Marine Corp after Graduation.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; Jorge and Sara Perez, brother Jesus Perez Sr., and nephew Jesus Perez Jr.

Joe is survived by his wife; Andrea B Perez, two sons; Evaristo Manuel Perez of Cuidad Acuna, Mexico and Jose Luis Perez Jr. of Brackettville, Tx. Three brothers; Eloy Perez (Alma) of Big Lake, Tx, Aurelio Perez (Patricia) of Rocksprings, Tx, Jorge Perez of Houston, Tx. Three sisters; Rosa Perez of San Antonio, Tx, Maria A Kumbier of Granbury, Tx, and Ela Perez Wagner (Raymond) of Ponder, Tx. And numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home in Del Rio, Texas.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Kinney County Cemetery, Brackettville, Texas.

José Luis Pérez Sr., de 71 años, residente de Brackettville desde hace mucho tiempo, ingreso a descansar el domingo 7 de julio de 2024.

José Luis Sr. nació el 10 de octubre de 1952 en Cuidad Acuña, México, hijo de Jorge y Sara Pérez. Se graduó en la escuela secundaria de Brackettville y se alisto en el Cuerpo de Marines de EE. UU. después de graduarse.

A José Luis Sr. le precedieron en la muerte sus padres Jorge y Sara Pérez, su hermano Jesús Pérez Sr. y su sobrino Jesús Pérez Jr.

A José Luis Sr. le sobreviven su esposa, Andrea B Pérez, dos hijos, Evaristo Manuel Pérez de Cuidad Acuna, México y José Luis Pérez Jr. de Brackettville, TX, tres hermanos Eloy Pérez (Alma) de Big Lake, TX, Aurelio Pérez (Patricia) de Rocksprings, TX. Jorge Pérez Jr. de Houston, TX. tres hermanas, Rosa Pérez de San Antonio, TX, María A. Kumbier de Granbury, TX y Elva Pérez-Wagner (Raymond) de Ponder, TX. Y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas.

Se llevará a cabo un velorio/servicio el martes 16 de julio de 2024, de 3:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. en Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home en Del Rio, TX.

Los servicios funerarios concluirán el 17 de julio de 2024 a las 10:00 a. m. en Brackettville, Texas.
