José M. Torres (Pepe), a la edad de 82 años, falleció en paz el 21 de Julio de 2026 en Del Rio, TX, rodeado de sus seres queridos.
Nacido el 20 de Mayo de 1944 en Zaragoza, Coahuila , fue hijo de Bernardina y Pantaleon Torres. Dedicó gran parte de su vida a su profesión como chofer de camiones, donde se destacó por su dedicación.
Más allá de su trabajo, tenía una gran pasión por la ganadería y siempre será recordado por la gran fe que tenía en Dios. Le sobreviven su esposa Eda De Luna; sus hijos José Torres, Juan Antonio Torres y Pantaleon Torres, Aroldo De Luna, Migdalia Padilla, Eda Castilló y sus nietos y demás familiares. Fue precedido en el camino celestial por su hijo Baltasar Torres y sus padres.
Los servicios de velación se llevarán a cabo el viernes 24 de julio de 2026, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en la Funeraria Sunset Memorial Oaks, ubicada en 2020 N. Bedell Ave., Del Rio, Texas.
La velación continuará el sábado 25 de julio de 2026, de 8:30 a.m. a 10:00 a.m., seguida de un servicio religioso en la capilla a las 10:00 a.m. en la Funeraria Sunset Memorial Oaks, ubicada en 2020 N. Bedell Ave., Del Rio, Texas.
La inhumación se llevará a cabo en el Cementerio Sunset Memorial Oaks, ubicado en 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.

José M. Torres ("Pepe"), age 82, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, in Del Rio, Texas, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born on May 20, 1944, in Zaragoza, Coahuila, Mexico, he was the son of Bernardina and Pantaleón Torres. He devoted much of his life to his career as a truck driver, where he was known for his hard work and dedication.
Beyond his profession, José had a deep passion for ranching and cattle raising. He will always be remembered for his unwavering faith in God, his love for his family, and the values he instilled in those who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Eda De Luna; his children, José Torres, Juan Antonio Torres, Pantaleón Torres, Aroldo De Luna, Migdalia Padilla, and Eda Castillo; his grandchildren; and many other cherished family members. He was preceded in death by his son, Baltasar Torres, and his parents.
The visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.
The visitation will continue on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM; followed by a chapel service at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home 2020 N. Bedell Ave., Del Rio, Texas.
The Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
