Jose Gerardo Haro Ramirez, age 82, entered into rest on August 12, 2026, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on April 29, 1944, in Durango, Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria T. Haro; beloved granddaughter, Savannah Haro; brothers, Rodrigo Haro and Alfonso Haro; and parents, Jose and Eloisa Haro.

He is survived by his children, Gerardo Haro, Abraham Haro, Nadia Eloisa Maldonado, and Ricardo Haro; granddaughters, Sabrina Waters, Alexia Vargas, and Nadia Rivera; son-in-law, Roberto Maldonado and daughter in law, Cindy Haro and numerous great-grandchildren.

He married Maria Haro on July 14, 1969, on her birthday.

He loved and cared for her until her last day. Gerardo worked in retail, was a talented artist, played the guitar, baseball and karate. He retired to care for his son Ricardo Haro. 

He will be truly missed, an amazing man that dedicated his life to care for his siblings, wife, children, and grandchildren. Respected and loved by so many, and is in God's hands now.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.
