Jose G. Chavez, age 79, entered into rest May 8, 2009, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born November 17, 1929 in Cd. Acuna Coahuila Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents Urbano and Santos Chavez. Wife: Maria De Los Angeles Chavez. Sons: Alfredo Chavez and Roy G. Chavez Left to cherish his memory are her sons: Jose D. Chavez and wife Virginia, Robert E. Chavez, Joey Chavez and wife Beatrice. Daughters: Juanita C. Partida, Daisy M. Prado and husband Juan. Daughter-In-Law: Gloria Chavez. 10 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 10, 2009, 5:00pm-9:00pm, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 11, 2009, 10:00am, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San FelipeCemetery.
