He was preceded in death by his Parents Trinidad and Josefa Torres, Brother Trini Torres Jr., Sister Guadalupe T. Gonzalez and nephew Ernesto Torres. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 41 years, Juanita H. Torres of Del Rio, Texas, Sons, Juan Torres and Melanie, Jorge Torres and Wendy, Jaime Torres and Maria, and Jose Luis Torres Jr., Brother, Richard Torres and wife Diana of Austin, Texas. Sisters, Dora Elia Torres of Del Rio, Texas and Brigida Esquivel and husband Javier of Coppers Cove, Texas. Sister-in-law, Maria Elena Torres of Del Rio, Texas. Granddaughter, Janelle Torres. Uncle, aunt, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel of Remembrance. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Honorary pallbearers will be former Altar Servers of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
