Jimmy Lee Mercado was called home to be with our Lord on October 23, 2024. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was born March 19,1962 to Alfredo Mercado and Maria (Nena) Lewis.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Alfredo Mercado and Maria Lewis, step father Buster Lewis, maternal grandparents Lorenzo and Beatriz Perez, and paternal grandparents Moises and Alberta Mercado.

Jimmy had a magnetic personality, comforting demeanor, and loving nature. He was slow to anger and quick to praise, congratulate, or compliment. He was an amazing father, always ready to lend a listening ear and offer advice without judgment. He spread positivity and light and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his former wife and best friend Rebecca, children Cynthia, Richard, and Annette, grandchildren Zackary, Michael, Anastasia, Addyson, Nikolas, and Anaí,sister Grace, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Gentleman with the honor of Pallbearers are: Richard Mercado, Adrian Briones, Dakar Cadena, Michael Reyes, Michael Isaac Reyes, and Luis Martínez.

Funeral service will conclude after the mass.
