Jesus Hernandez Cano, age 91, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on August 20, 1933.

Jesus played baseball when he was young, he liked to joke around. He also liked history.He was married at the age of 30 to Maria Del Carmen Vasquez. He loved to Bar-B-Q at family gatherings and tell stories about his life.

He was preceded in death  by his parents; Agustine Hernandez and Jovita Cano.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years; Maria Del Carmen Vasquez, his 5 children; Jesus Hernandez (Dora Perez), Arnulfo (Maribel Pesina), Sonia P. Alonzo (Juan J. Alonzo), Lydia Contreras (Jesus Contreras), Rosaelva Martinez (Jose Martinez), and 18 grand children.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

A chapel service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
