Jesus, affectionately remembered as Jesse, graduated from Del Rio High in 1979. Following high school, he proudly served in the United States Army. After his military service, Jesse strived to live a life of excellence by teaching and mentoring others, generously sharing his knowledge, his experience, by embracing a strong work ethic, and approached life with integrity.
Above all, Jesse's greatest love was his family. His home was where his heart was, and found happiness in staying busy with projects, fixing things, and always finding something new to work on. He took great pride in his home, especially in his gardening, which was truly his greatest joys. He believed that nature should be cared for and respected, and had a genuine appreciation for the beauty of the world around him.
Jesse had a beautiful way of finding joy in the simple things. He didn't need much to be happy, just time at home, a project to keep his hands busy, his gardening, and the people he loved. He understood that some of life's most precious moments are found in the ordinary ones, and took time to notice and appreciate them.
His love for his family was woven into everything he did. Through his hard work, his dedication and the care he put into his home and work, Jesse showed his love in ways big and small. The memories he created with those closest to him will forever remain in their hearts.
Jesse leaves behind more than memories. He leaves behind the lessons he taught, the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the countless little pieces of himself that will continue to live on in the people and places he cherished.
His absence will be deeply felt, at home, in the quiet of everyday moments, and most of all, in the hearts of those who loved him. He is leaving behind the greatest legacy a man could leave his family, a home built on love.
Jesse will be missed immensely, loved forever, and remembered always.
