Jessie E. Meil, age 83, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in Uvalde, Texas. He was born on December 9, 1937. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Alma Jo Meil, Sister Barbara Oliver and son Mark Johnson. Mr. Meil proudly served in the United States Air Force. When he left the military he was a farmer and was co-owner in a crop dusting service. Later he was elected Municipal Judge where he served 8 years. When he moved to Brackettviille he worked for Fort Clark Springs and Wool and Mohair. Left to cherish his memory is his spouse of 48 years, Sondra Meil. Children; Jessie (Marsha) Meil, Jr., Steve Meil, Jodie (Gerald) Stone, Johnny Meil, Marla Madrid and Paige Weatherby. Brother, Richard Junior Meil. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Brackettville Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, Brackettillve, Texas. . Gentlemen with the honor of pallbearers; Dyke Stewart, Keith Gose, Jessie Meil, Jr., Johnny Meil, Phillip Garcia, and Gerald Stone. Military Honors to be rendered by United States Air Force and American Legion Post 595. Interment to follow at Kinney County Cemetery.
