Jessica Renee Martinez, age 29, was unexpectedly taken from this life and went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at her home in Del Rio, TX. Jessica was born on February 8, 1993, to Javier and Analilia Martinez. From that moment, she captivated us with her beautiful brown eyes, her long eyelashes, and her contagious smile. Even at such a young age, it was her strong-willed spirit, outgoing personality, and genuine heart that were her defining characteristics and made her a family favorite. Our lives were blessed and forever changed by this bigger-than-life personality. To say she was a force of nature is an understatement. She had a strong sense of self, refused to conform to anyone's expectations, and lived life on her own terms. A rebel at heart, she became an expert at evading lectures from her Tios and family members. She loved her, "Tias Chismosas," as fondly called them for always finding out her "business." Jessica was honest and outspoken, standing resolute against anything she deemed unjust. She was a fierce and loyal friend who was always there for her loved ones. She made friends wherever she went, and she attracted others with her quick-witted remarks and hilarious sense of humor. Jessica was kind and inclusive of everyone. When she became a friend, you had a friend for life. She was sure to keep in touch no matter what changes life brought. Jessica enjoyed spending time with her friends, laughing, listening to music, using her phone, and being on social media. The loves of her life were her children who were everything to her. She worked to give them the best and went back to school to continue to do so. She loved them more than anything in the world, and there is nothing she wouldn't do for them. Her children were her pride and joy. She was a protective mother and guided her kids to be themselves. Jessica will always watch over them. It is through them that she will continue to live on. Jessica was proceeded in death by her younger sister, Sylvia Alexis Martinez; her paternal grandparents, Pedro and Lorenza Martinez; her maternal grandparents, Nabor and Maria E. Villarreal; and uncles Pedro Martinez Jr, Santiago Villarreal, Rodolfo Villarreal, Ruben Balderas; and aunt, Cruz Elena Loredo. The family left to cherish her memory include her beloved children, seven-year-old daughter, Avia Vasquez, and five-year-old son, Diego Saucedo; her parents Analilia and Javier Martinez, Sr.; her brothers Javier Martinez, Jr. and Caleb Jr. Hagg; Aunts & Uncles: Carlos R. Martinez and wife Diana Martinez of Fort Worth, TX, and Maria del Rosario Huerta and family of Del Rio; Joe & Hilda Villarreal of Odessa, TX; Gustavo & Laura Villarreal of Des Moines, IA, Efrain & Lupita Villarreal of Odessa, TX, Cecilia Hiatt and family of LA, Irma Balderas and family of Del Rio, Carmen Ochoa and family of IA, Sylvia Nadeau and family of FL; Niece & Nephews: Josie Lynn Martinez, Ayden Martinez, Zayne Martinez, and Zeke Martinez; Jessica is also survived by many other relatives and a mass of friends. Jessica Renee Martinez lived life to the fullest and touched the hearts of many. This one-of-a-kind young lady was loved deeply by family, friends, and her community. We are heartbroken by the loss of our dear Jessica and will treasure the wonderful memories she gave us. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, and Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Services will conclude after the second day of visitation
