Jay Ritzen Jr., age 67, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on September 28, 2025.

Jay was born on April 24, 1958, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to parents Jacob Sr. and Georgia Ritzen. He made New Braunfels his home in 1976, where he built a long and respected career as an appliance repairman.

Jay was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Sr. and Georgia Ritzen. He is survived by his two sons, Jay III and Josh; three sisters; one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jay will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the many customers who came to know and appreciate him over the years.
