Javier Armando Hernandez Arreola, age 57, entered into rest September 28, 2017 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born October 26, 1959 in Ciudad Acuna, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Nicolasa R. Arreola. Javier dedicated his life in doing what he loved; working in the Import/Export business, cooking, music and bartending. Javier was an experienced acoustic guitar player and enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, entertaining, and spending time with his family and friends. Javier's family and friends will miss his lively spirit and his loving and humerous personality. Left to cherish his memory is his only daughter, Marla Hernandez, parents, Guillermo Hernandez Perales and Velia Hernandez Arreola. Also survived by six siblings; Elvira Vargas of Del Rio, Guillermo Hernandez (Martha Musquiz Hernandez) of Monterrey, Mexico; Myriam Hernandez Faz (Dr. Oscar Faz) of Del Rio; Hilda G. Robles of Del Rio; Consuelo Chavez (Robert Chavez) of Tucson, Arizona; and his youngest sister, Ethel Hernandez of Del Rio; 12 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 4:00pm-9:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held Monday, October 2, 2017 at 10:30am, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home with pastor Miguel Garcia Hernandez officiating. Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Dr. Oscar Faz, Guillermo Hernandez Arreola, Jorge Vargas, CJ Robles, Josue Robles, and Robert Chavez. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
