James "Jimmy" P. Mendez, age 56, entered into rest on Friday, December 11, 2020 in Faribault, MN. He was born on December 25,1963, in Oxnard, Ca. He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond H. Mendez, Ramona F. Mendez, and his brother Raymond H. Mendez Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his brothers and sister, Victor Mendez, Sylvia Velasquez, and Dr. Arthur A. Mendez Sr. Nephews and nieces Arthur A. Mendez Jr. and wife Mari, Cynthia Mendez, Mona Casillas and husband Derek, Christina Mendez, Victoria Rodriguez and husband Aaron, Nicholas Velasquez, and 11 great nieces and nephews. Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Arthur A. Mendez Jr., David Garza- Casillas, Derek Casillas, Aaron Rodriguez, Gaspar Sandoval, and Robert Sandoval. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020, 3:00pm-7:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020, 10:00am, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
