Jaime Zapata, age 71, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on October 17, 1945 in Del Rio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents Lucio and Berta Zapata; daughter Esmeralda Meza. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Jaime Zapata, Jr. and Donny Zapata; daughters Rosa Salazar and husband Rogelio, Cynthia Zapata; sisters Olga Hernandez and husband Agapito, Oralia Martinez and husband Antonio, Ysabel Zapata, Guadalupe Martinez and husband Jose Luis, 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Services will conclude after the visitation.
