Irma T. Aguilar, age 73, entered into rest on April 16, 2022. She was born on August 20, 1948. Irma was a loved wife, mother and grandmother. Daughter of Roberto Torres and Santos Torres. She was born Irma Torres in Del Rio, Texas. Irma grew up with 6 siblings. She had a total of 3 sisters; Bertha Martinez and 2 who have passed Cecila Cardenas and Santos Acevedo. She has 3 brothers; Roberto Torres, Gerado Torres, and Rolando Torres. Irma attended school in Del Rio until she started moving for work with her family. She enjoyed traveling and is a former resident of Muscatine, Iowa. She met Gabriel Aguilar at a dance and fell in love. Irma and Gabriel Aguilar wed on October 19, 1974 in Iowa. Together they had 4 children; Juan G Aguilar, Orlando Aguilar, Eric Aguilar and Isabel Aguilar. She was working at Heinz in Muscatine while caring for her family. Irma loved all 11 of her grandchildren; Dezirae Aguilar, Destinie Aguilar, Brenden Aguilar, Katrina Aguilar, Arianna Aguilar, Gabriella Aguilar, Giselle Angela Aguilar, Karissa, Zowii, Jay-Anthony, and Zyra Aguilar. She is also a great grandmother to Logan and Mya. Irma retired as soon as possible to focus on her family and spent most of her years caring for all. Her biggest hobby and her favorite thing to do was attend the casino. She also enjoyed football, she was a big fan Dallas Cowboys. She was very blessed to watch her family grow and lived a long life. She is now resting in peace with her heavenly family.
