Upon completion of High School, Irene went to Odessa Community College where she majored in business. Irene was always known as a classy, no-nonsense woman. Well, loved and always the dedicated mother, between baking or sewing, she always made sure her kids had fresh outfits for school the next morning. Irene started a career as the kids grew for S&H Green Stamps, which then led her to work for Midland Airport with TSA once her children left the nest. She was always the queen of 'Come on in!' and everyone always felt comfortable in her home with Bill. Once Irene retired in the mid 90's, she and Bill operated a successful mobile home park. She loved riding with Bill on his motorcycle, motorhome and loved traveling with their friends around the great state of Texas. Irene loved her Tweety Bird Jeep and taking it on adventures. She loved spending her free time with family and friends.
Irene will be missed beyond her family, as she touched the lives of so many friends. Mostly she'll be missed by the 2nd love of her life, her dog Shelby. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donation to be sent to your favorite charity.
