Hervey Garcia, age 62, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2024. Hervey was born on December 13, 1961, in Del Rio, Texas to Efrain L. and Guadalupe Garcia.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Isabel Cervantes; his father, Efrain L. Garcia; and brothers Efrain Garcia Jr., and Ricardo Garcia.

Hervey was loving and kindhearted, and he was a passionate car mechanic who also enjoyed performing body work on trucks and cars, dedicating many years of his life to his craft. His love for cars was evident in every project he undertook, from restoring a classic car to helping his friends.

Hervey is survived by his loving mother, Guadalupe Garcia; his brother, Alfredo Garcia; his sister, Yvonne Garcia Roman; his nieces Elizabeth Guerra and Cynthia Garcia; nephews, Ricardo Garcia, Jr. and Jeffrey Garcia; numerous aunts, uncles, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
