Obituary

Harvey [Gaitan], a beloved father and dedicated Navy veteran, passed away on 3/23/2026. He was 66 and leaves behind a legacy filled with love and cherished memories.

Harvey was a devoted father to his three sons, Emmitt, Chris, and George, who were the pride and joy of his life. He instilled in them the values of hard work, respect, and unconditional love, creating a strong family bond that will endure through generations.

Harvey will be missed greatly by his partner of 16 years, Nora Luna. He will remain in the hearts of her children; Gina Garcia, Antonio Luna, Amanda Luna and numerous grandchildren.

A proud member of the United States Navy, Harvey served his country with honor and distinction. His time in the Navy shaped his character and instilled in him a strong sense of duty, which he exemplified throughout his life.

Harvey was also a passionate sports fan, unwavering in his support for the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. His enthusiasm for these teams brought joy and camaraderie to countless game nights spent with family and friends.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially Emmitt, Chris, and George, who will carry his memory in their hearts forever. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lubbock, Texas.
