In Loving Memory of Harold Glenn Tuttle

Harold Glenn Tuttle, age 76, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Harold was born on September 15, 1949, in Crete, Nebraska, where he spent his childhood and developed the values of hard work, honesty, and love of country that would define his life.

Harold was a proud United States Marine, and being a Marine was never simply something he had done; it was who he was. He carried the honor, courage, commitment, and brotherhood of the Marine Corps with him throughout his life. "Semper Fi" was more than a motto to Harold; it was the way he lived.

His faith in God was the foundation of his life. He loved the Lord, loved his country, and loved the people God placed in his life. Harold had a gentle, sentimental heart and was one of the most loving men anyone could ever know. He freely shared his kindness, compassion, and unwavering love with his family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Harold also had a passion for classic cars, especially his treasured 1972 red Corvette Stingray. He loved taking it to car shows, where he enjoyed sharing stories, meeting fellow enthusiasts, and proudly showing off the car that brought him so much joy.

Above all else, Harold deeply loved his wife, Virginia. Their marriage was built on love, devotion, laughter, and unwavering commitment. Harold's love for Virginia was evident in everything he did, and she will forever cherish the life they shared together.

Harold was preceded in death by his mother, Inez Hulene Wilkins; his father, Clarence Tuttle; and his brother, Timothy Tuttle.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia Lynn Tuttle; his sister, Sandra Arline Tuttle Meinke; and many extended family members and fellow Marines who will miss him dearly.

Harold leaves behind a legacy of faith, patriotism, kindness, and unconditional love. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord he loved so deeply.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, at 11:30 am, with a Memorial Service at 12:45 pm. A committal service will be held at 2:45 pm, on July 24, 2026, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with United States Marine Corps honors.
