Halley Lee Simpson, a devoted family man, proud veteran, and steadfast presence in the lives of those who knew him, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. He was 84 years old.
Halley was born on April 24, 1941, in Trent, Texas, to E.M. and Lucille Simpson. From an early age, he carried with him a strong sense of duty, integrity, and quiet determination—qualities that would define his life's journey.
He honorably served his country in the United States Navy, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant. His years of service reflected not only his commitment to his nation, but also his leadership, discipline, and deep sense of responsibility to others.
