Guadalupe Hernandez de Gomez, 89, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family Tuesday, June 11, 2019. She was born December 12, 1929, in Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian Hernandez and Guadalupe Obregon; and by her siblings, Socorro Ozuna, Elisa Coronado, and Carlos Obregon. She is survived by her children, Maria Suarez (husband Fidencio), Maria Alvarez, Lucero Morales, and Yesenia Hernandez (husband Enrique); a brother, Reymundo Hernandez (wife Maria H. Ortiz); and by numerous grandchildren and a host of other family. Visitation will be held Thursday and Friday, June 13 and 14, 2019, from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 2019, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will immedaitely follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
