Guadalupe "Tita" Rivera Castro, age 91 entered into rest on December 31, 2017 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on December 10, 1926 in Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband Roberto C. Castro and their only child, Oscar R. Castro. Also by her parents Dario and Rosa Rivera. Left to cherish her memory is her grandchildren; David Castro, Juan (Aide) Castro and Cynthia (Daniel) Renkema. Eight grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. The Castro family extends a special thank you to the staff at Val Verde Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care and compassion they provided Tita. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 5:00pm-9:00pm at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Chapel Service will be held Friday, January 5, 2018, time pending, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
