A true love story now reunited in eternal rest, Our family matriarch Mrs. Guadalupe M. Abrego joined her beloved husband of 63 years Juan R. Abrego and 2 devoted sons Juan III, and Andres M. Abrego on Feb. 1st 2026.
She is survived by her loving children: Raul (Diana), Mario, Raquel Ortiz (Juan), Olga Abrego Garza, and Sarah M. Also surviving her are her brother-in-law Isidro Abrego (Edelmira), Severa Abrego, and Eleanor Abrego; her siblings Enrique Martinez, Ofilia Hedin, and Graciela Espinoza (Joe); along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
AMA's greatest accomplishment was her unwavering devotion to her family. She was always ready with a warm hug and kiss for everyone who visited, making all feel deeply loved and welcome.
Our family will always cherish the moments we shared with our beloved AMA. Her life with Apa began as a fairy-tale love story built on mutual respect, dreams, and dedication. Together, they created a lasting legacy with the Southside Service Station, built on open roads and hard work, growing into a family business where many relatives came together and thrived.
