Gloria Esperanza Zapata entered into rest on Tuesday May 30, 2023, in Ft Worth, Texas.

She was born in Del Rio, Texas on September 6, 1995. Gloria received her R.N. Degree from Weatherford College in nursing.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Luis and Felicitas Zapata.

She is survived by her son, Kol Zamora. Her mother; Esperanza Zapata. Her sisters; Alexis Zapata, Joanna Williams (George), and Jessica Aguirres. Uncles; Alberto Zapata, Ricardo Zapata, Juan Zapata, and Jesus Zapata. Aunts; Julia, Rosalinda, Olga, Lety, Maria, and Martina. Nieces and nephews; Aaliyah Nichols, Aaryah McClelland, Abel Williams, Amillio Williams, Miguel Aguirres, and Janie Aguirres.

The visitation will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers; Jorge Zapata, Jake Garcia, Jonathan Garcia, Jerry Cerda, Luis Zapata, Jesse Zapata, Jr.

The interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
