Gloria Trevino Longoria, age 77, entered into rest March 13, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born October 27, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her daughter Georgine Trevino and brother Oscar Tristain. Left to cherish her memory is the love of her life, Porfirio, her children Sylvia Kangrga, Edward Trevino ( Debbie), Mark Longoria (Deloris), Martha Trevino, Teddy Trevino and Greg Trevino (Jennifer), grandchildren, Georgina, Stephanie, Sonja Kangrga and Tristain and Danyella Longoria, her great grandchildren, Favian and Sarita Chacon. Sister Nora (YoYo) Manzo, brothers, Robert Delgado (Juanita), Omar Tristain (Carol). She met and married Porfirio Trevino Longoria on October 13, 1952 and moved to Del Rio, Texas in 1980. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Gloria is best remembered for her generosity and her care for others. The standard she lived by was �" I will help others and the Lord will help me."� She never missed an opportunity to give to others. She would do whatever she could- donating clothes, school supplies or groceries to those less fortunate. Her home was always open to all and she was happiest making others feel special. She loved life and found joy in the simple things. She enjoyed going to the ranch, movies, bingo and spending time with her family and friends. Gentlemen left with the honor of Pallbearers: Edward Trevino, Mark Longoria, Greg T. Longoria, Omar Tristain, Robert Delgado and Araldo Manzo. Visitation will be held Friday, March 14, 2008 from 5:00PM-9:00PM, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 at St Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00AM. Entombment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
