Gloria Garcia, age 65, entered into rest May 23, 2010, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born June 24, 1944, in Laredo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfonso Garcia, Sr. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Maria Nieves Garcia; brothers and sisters are Alfonso Garcia, Jr. and wife Magda, Antonio Garcia and wife Cynthia, Aurora Caballero and husband Guadalupe, Jorge Garcia, Eduardo Garcia and wife Anavel, and Daniel Garcia. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2010, from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00PM. Gloria was a devoted member of the Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Wednesday, May 26, 2010, 10:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
