Geronimo "Jerry" Galan passed away in New Braunfels, Texas on April 13, 2018 at the age of 54. Jerry is predeceased by his parents, Pilar Galan Sr. and Magdalena S. Galan, as well as his sister Stella Escalante. He is survived by his loving children Christina Galan, Emily Marez, Jerry Galan Jr. and wife Shanda, and Joel Galan; wife Celia Galan; brothers, Fidel "Felix" Galan and wife Bertha, Pilar Galan Jr. and wife Mary, Joe S. Galan and wife Velia; sister Sulema Galan Wood and husband Eli; great-grandchild Violet Salto; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Jerry was born in Memphis, Texas on May 26, 1963. He graduated from Jack C. Hays High School in 1981 and went on to work in construction while living in Kyle, Texas Jerry is remembered playing softball in his younger years, in his later years he was known as a hard worker, but also had time to enjoy life, go fishing, spend time with his family, and drink a beer. The visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 415 S. Bus. 35 New Braunfels, Texas 78130 on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 5pm-9pm a prayer service will begin at 7 p.m..
