Gerardo "Jerry" Salinas, age 35, entered into rest on Thursday, June 11, 2026 in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico. He was born on October 10, 1990 in Del Rio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Laisha Marie Riley.

Gerardo is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Salinas; his children, Brandon Xavier Salinas, Jeralynn Rae Salinas, Madalynn Jae Salinas, and Miguel Gerardo Salinas; his parents, Rodolfo and Leticia Salinas; his sister, Marissa Guerra; his brother Rudy Salinas, Jr.; his sister-in-laws, Brenda Salinas, Lorena Riojas, Ivonn Ramirez, and Sarah Luna; and his brother-in-law, Adalberto Guerra.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, and Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Avenue, Del Rio, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Promise Land Church at the Del Rio Civic Center. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 U.S. Highway 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
