He was born on March 16, 1939 in Del Rio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his Parents Basilio & Maria De Jesus Hernandez Left to cherish his memory is his Wife of 52 years Mrs. Lourdes B Hernandez; Sons, Francisco (Belinda) Hernandez Jr. and Ramon Hernandez. Daughters, Maria Hernandez Nava, Rosa H. (George) Arteaga and Cynthia H. Chapa. Also survived by 16-grandchildren and 10-Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary 7:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 12:00PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
