Francisca Ozuna Luna, 89, passed away on May 14, 2026, in New Braunfels, Texas. She was born on November 25, 1936, in New Braunfels to Emilio and Maria Ozuna.
Francisca is survived by her son, Daniel Campos (Diana); her siblings Emma Ozuna, Beatrice Ortiz, Juanita Aleman, and Juan Ozuna, Sr.; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gavino Luna; her parents, Emilio and Maria Ozuna; her brothers Carmen, Jesse, Guillermo, and Hector Ozuna; and her sisters Tomasa Garcia, Ester Acevedo, and Esperanza Paredez.
Francisca lived a life filled with creativity, generosity, and quiet joy. She loved sewing blankets and embroidering pillowcases and dish towels, gifting her handmade pieces to friends and family. She had a remarkable green thumb and could grow nearly any plant she touched. Known for her gentle spirit, she often babysat for loved ones and found comfort in arts and crafts. Her home was always brightened by the presence of her cats, dogs, and the cheerful birds she adored.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 415 S. Business IH-35, New Braunfels, Texas, beginning at 5:00 p.m., with a prayer service to follow at 6:00 p.m.
Francisca will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
