Francisca
Bernal
Oct 10, 1945 — Apr 5, 2026
Francisca Bernal, age 80, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Irving, Texas. She was born on October 10, 1945, in El Campo, Texas.
Francisca was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose heart touched everyone she met. She was known for her stylish looks, but even more for her strength, independence, and strong faith.
Her home was always filled with music, food, and love. She enjoyed singing and could often be heard late into the night, filling the house with her voice. She loved to cook, especially making tamales for her family—something everyone looked forward to and will always remember.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. They were her whole world. She carried her loved ones in her heart every single day, and each night before going to bed, she would say a prayer for all of them. It was her way of taking care of everyone, even when she was not able to be with them.
She was the center of her family and will remain in their heart always.
She is survived by her children: Jackeline Bazavilvazo Bernal, Javier Bazavilvazo Bernal, Raphael Bazavilvazo Bernal, Jannet Bazavilvazo Bernal, Daniel Bazavilvazo Bernal, and Christian Salas Bernal.
Also left to cherish her memory are her numerous grandchildren: Jackeline, Karen, Stephanie, Jose, Daniel, Natalia, Bryan, Ivan, Jannet, Brianna, Allan, Michelle, Mia, Aleksei, Bella, Naya, Bailey, and Lea; and her great-grandchildren: Bella, Dulce, Valeria, Lucas, Samantha, Danny, Olivia, and Jose.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.
