Frances Cortinas Kelso, age 90, entered into rest March 17, 2008, in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on March 8, 1918, in Del Rio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andres Sr. and Francisca Cortinas. Son, Rudy Maldonado, brothers Andres Cortinas Jr., Fidelio, Rudy, Richard and Joe Cortinas. Sisters Blanca Lattrell, Layita Vasquez, and Ester Cortinas. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Gloria Erath and husband Jerry of Sonora, CA. Sons: Diego Maldonado, Jr. and wife Marilyn of Santa Clara, CA, John Maldonado and wife Mary of Del Rio, TX, and David Maldonado and wife Carmen of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 20, 2008, from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 21, 2008, at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Young officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Gentlemen with the honor of serving as pallbearers are Brian, Pete, Alonzo, Steve, and Duane Maldonado, and Jaime Aguilar.
