Fidencio Saucedo, age 91, entered into rest on Monday, June 1, 2026, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on January 1, 1935, in Anáhuac, Nuevo León, Mexico, to Ramona Avila and Marciano Saucedo.

Fidencio was a dedicated entrepreneur who owned and operated his own successful roofing business. He was an avid hunter and a dedicated baseball fan. He also enjoyed watching his favorite Western films.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Andrea E. Saucedo; his children, Dagoberto Saucedo (Paulina), Juvey Saucedo (Maria), Dora Alicia Saucedo (Miguel), Silvia Saucedo (Salvador), Gerardo Gurrola (Selia), Hilda Diaz (Hector), Robert Gurrola, and Angelica Davila. His grandchildren, Nubia, Dagoberto, Diego, Gladys, Cesar, Marisol, Doris, Edna, Elvis, Kimberly, Roberto, Emilee, Carlos, Gina, Andrea, Matthew, Victoria, Amylee, Aaron, Mariana, Francisco, and Flavio.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Marciano Saucedo and Ramona Avila; his first wife, Maria Del Refugio Ramon; his son, Cesar Saucedo; and his grandson, Edson Anguiano.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave., Del Rio, Texas.

The visitation will continue on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 510 Wernett St., Del Rio, Texas.

The interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
