Felix "Chano" Chairez Garcia, age 69, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on January 21, 1956 in Cd. Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico.

Felix is survived by his wife of 50 years, Minerva, whom he loved and cherished very deeply. His 6 children, Patrocinio, Andrea, Aurelia (Mark), Carmen (Joe), Eliza and Angelica (Jose) along with 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He dedicated 31 years of his life working in construction to provide for his family. Felix enjoyed carpentry and working with tools making it his life's work. He was strong, honest, fair and generous to everyone. He was a serious man but to those who knew him, knew of his sarcastic and loving sense of humor. Felix loved his family above anything else and did all he could for them.

He will be missed, but never forgotten. He is deeply loved by all, and may he rest in peace.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with a chapel service at 1:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
