Estela R. Salazar, age 83, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on September 25, 1935 in Del Rio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Ricardo Salazar; parents Gilberto Rosas and Herminia Vasquez; brothers Marcial Rosas and Gilberto Rosas; sisters Modesta Brown and Hortencia Morin. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Robert Salazar and wife Rosie, Juan Salazar and wife Estela; brothers Joe Rosas, Frank Rosas, and Joe Valdez; sister Guadalupe Aguirre; grandchildren Adrianna Salazar, Johnrobert Salazar and wife Kristen, Clarissa Salazar, Laura Salazar, and Sarah Salazar; and great-grandchild Mateo Salazar. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Robert Salazar, Juan Salazar, Johnrobert Salazar, Reynaldo Salazar, Jose Ernesto Salazar, Jr., David Aguirre. Interment to follow Westlawn Cemetery.
