Obituary

Esmeregildo Javier Ramòn, lovingly known as E.J., on February 7, 2026, we know he was welcomed through the pearly gates, greeted with peace, and surrounded by God's love. E.J. was born on November 3, 1965, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. He was a God-loving man, the hardest-working person many of us ever knew, and the kindest, most selfless soul.

E.J. always put his family first and lived his life true to himself and his values. E.J. worked tirelessly to make sure his family was always safe, provided for, and happy. He was the anchor in our lives; steady, dependable, and always there whenever and wherever he was needed. His heart was open to everyone, and he never hesitated to show up for others.

He was full of laughter and good times. A natural storyteller, E.J. had a way of turning moments into memories, and his jokes, sayings, and sense of humor could make anyone laugh until it hurt. He loved RV'ing, spending time at the river, barbecuing, and being surrounded by family. These were the moments he cherished most.

E.J. is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe Rocha Ramòn and Javier Ramòn.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Ramòn; his sons, Andrew J. Ramòn and spouse Justine Ramòn, Joshua J. Ramòn, and Phillip J. Ramòn; Destiny Wallace and spouse Jeremy Wallace; his grandchildren, Aleena Jae Ramòn, Apollo Jay Ramòn, and Aaron Jay Ramòn, lovingly known as "Double A." Clementine Raine Martinez, Bryce Spicer, and Jamarques Wallace.

He is also survived by his siblings, Miroslava R. Acosta, Randy Ramòn, Erasmo Ramòn, Marcus Ramòn, Jesus Ramòn, and Maria Elena Ball, along with many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

E.J. will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering love for his family, his humor, and the values he lived by every day. He left an impact on everyone he met, and his absence will be deeply felt by so many.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Dino.

Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Faith Alive Church, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor his life.

Though he will be cremated, his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
