Ernesto L. Valenzuela, age 65, went to be with the Lord October 12, 2009, in Uvalde, Texas. He was born July 14, 1944, in Grand Falls, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delfino and Luz Valenzuela, sister, Elpidia Flores, and brothers, Hector and Elias Valenzuela. Left to cherish his memory are his children: Frank Valenzuela, Ernest Valenzuela, Jr., Rene Valenzuela, Emily Valenzuela, and Ernestina Jalomo. 14 Grandchildren. Brothers, Henry Valenzuela, Robert Valenzuela, Freddy Valenzuela, and Delfino Valenzuela, Jr. Sisters, Lupe Suarez, Janie Yanez, Estefana Cobos, and Blanca Lidia Gonzales. Gentlemen with the honors of serving as pallbearers: Willy �"Bombo"� Gonzales, Mark Gonzales, Tommy Gomez, Carlos Gomez, Javier Talamantez and Jimmy Flores. Honorary Pallbearers: Ricahrd Guajardo, Carlos Guajardo, Abraham �"Baby"� Gonzales, Dominique Quiroz, Sammy Jalomo, Tom Gomez Jr., Frank Castillo and Luis Guajardo. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM. Mass will be held Friday, October 16, 2009, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Cremation to follow.
