Ercillia M. Flores, age 93, entered into rest on Saturday, August 10, 2019 in Hondo, Texas. She was born on January 27, 1926 in Brackettville, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband Luis Flores, Sr.; parents Eugino Jimenez and Rosa Palado; and son-in-law Arturo Chapa. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Mario J. Flores (Rebecca), Eugino Flores (Mary Ann), Luis Flores, Jr. (Maria), and Jose Luis Flores (Sandra); daughters Blasa Flores Chapa and Rosa Flores Garcia (Juan); 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Brian Flores, Mario Flores, Jr., Hilario Garcia, Lalito Garcia, Luis Flores, III, and E.J. Flores; Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Virgil Salmon, Jr., Brandon Salmon, Juan Garcia, and Jose Hernandez. Interment will follow at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery.
