Encarnación Lira De Arredondo, age 83, entered into rest on Friday, October 9, 2026 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on December 4, 1943.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Elipido Arredondo; parents, Epitacio Lira and Maria Delgado; her siblings Jose Lira, Candelario Lira, and Lazaro Lira.

She is survived by her children Mario Arredondo Lira, Elpidio Arredondo Lira, Yolanda Arredondo Lira, and Rosie Garcia; her siblings Hilario Lira, Francisco Lira, Amador Lira, Petra Leyva, Margarita Lira, and Maria De Jesus Lira; 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M, with a chapel service at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave., Del Rio, Texas.

Funeral service will conclude after the visitation.
