Emma S. De Luna, age 77, entered into rest September 12, 2007 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on May 24, 1930 in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. Emma was a most loving mother and grandmother whose whole life was centered around her family. She was a wonderful homemaker and doting grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Maria A. Sanchez, brother: Jesus Sanchez. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 56 years, Gonzalo De Luna; daughters and son-in-laws Emma Yolanda and Richard Castro, Luz Clara and Eduardo Balderas, Maria Cristina and Mark Lambert; son and daughter-in-law Gonzalo De Luna Jr. and Lupita. Grandchildren: Richard V and wife Monica, Vince, D.J. Castro, Cathy and husband Juan Alvarado, Eddie and Mary Balderas, Marisa, Megan and Maddie Lambert, Julyssa De Luna, Vivian and husband Richard De la O. Great-grandchildren: Lauren and Eva Nichole Alvarado, Gabrielle and Zan Castro. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to our mother"�s loving caregivers: Griselda Lozano, Gaby Saenz, Zulema Cisneros, also Drs. Antonio and Veronica Cadena, the staff at Del Rio Nursing Home, the nurses at Val Verde Regional Medical Center 4th station, Dr. Lindsey and Fathers David and Gabriel of St Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Friday, September 14, 2007, from 4:00PM-9:00PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 15, 2007, at St Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00AM. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
