Elsie Mae Cargill, age 86, went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2009, in Del Rio Texas. She fought a fierce battle of cancer. She was born September 20, 1922 to Herbert and Sue Rubottom. Elsie was a waitress at the then Del Rio Motor Lodge where she me Jack Cargill, she married him on June 13, 1968. She and Jack managed Fisherman"�s Headquarters for about 10 years. They loved new people that came into the store. Elsie lived a full life of fun, adventure and she loved a good game of Dominoes and will truly be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to send special thanks to the Retama Manor Nursing Facility. To all the nurses and aids, Physical Therapy and O. T. We are truly blessed to have had you care for our beloved Elsie. You gave her the best care a family could ask for. Again, THANK YOU. Left to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted husband Jack Cargill. Godchildren: Lee Ann Briscoe, Lisa Davis and her husband Mike their daughter Makayla all of Del Rio.
