Our dear mother Elma Romelia Leyva de Quintero sadly passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 79. She was born on August 22, 1945. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance.

She was predeceased by her Husband Enrique Quintero Sr., Parents Antonio Leyva and Maria de Socorro Chavarria Leyva. Siblings Rodolfo Leyva, Agapito Leyva, Anastacio Leyva, Aurora Leyva Morin, Blasita Leyva Hernandez , Amelia Leyva Garcia, Anita Leyva Sotelo, Senorina Leyva Salazar, Olga Leyva Reyes and leaves behind her children Alonzo Leyva-Mirna (wife), Enrique Quintero Jr.-Cynthia (wife), Nazario Quintero- Sylvia (wife), Maria Quintero Morales-Jose Luis (husband), Judith Quintero Zapata-Jesus (husband), Amanda Quintero Helgerman- Robert(husband), Liliana Quintero Velasquez- Pedro(husband), Alexander Quintero-Joyce (wife) along with countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren who felt her warmth and generosity.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

The mass of christian burial will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
