Elisa Villarreal Ledesma entered into rest on March 16, 2026, in San Antonio, TX. She was born on December 7, 1929, in Mission, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pablo M. Ledesma Sr.; her son, Pablo Ledesma Jr.; her father, Roman Villarreal; her mother, Francisca Garza; her brothers, Ramon O. Villarreal, Jose C. Villarreal, and Rene A. Villarreal; and her sisters, Maria L. Martinez Herrera and Martina Villarreal.
She is survived by her son, Roberto Ledesma (Janie); her son, Eddie Ledesma (Linda); her daughter, Elizabeth L. Tercero (Orlando Jr.); her daughter-in-law, Patricia A. Ledesma; six grandsons, one granddaughter, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Elisa began her working years as a seamstress at the Hicks Ponder Factory and later dedicated 22 years as a food service manager for SFDR-CISD. In 1950, she married Pablo M. Ledesma Sr., and together they built a life centered on family, sharing 59 years of marriage.
She was a woman of strong faith and service. At Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, she taught catechism, was an active member of the Guadalupanas, sang in the church choir, and served as president of the Sacred Heart Society. She also gave her time as a member of the Diabetes Task Force.
In 2015, she moved to San Antonio, TX, to be with her daughter and son-in-law. There, she became a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time in the arts and crafts group.
She found happiness in the simple things like gardening, creating cascarones, and spending time with those she loved. She will be remembered for her faith, her kindness, and the love she shared with her family.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM led by the Sacred Heart of Jesus Society, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 509 W. Garza St, Del Rio, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Angela Reynolds, Robert Edward Ledesma, Nicholas Ledesma, Daniel Ledesma, Mario Valadez Jr., and Javier Valadez.
Honorable Pallbearers will be Mark Ledesma, Paul Ledesma III, Edward David Ledesma, and Eloy Valadez.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
