Elida Nanez Hernandez age 84, entered into rest on December 18, 2013 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born May 27, 1929 in Del Rio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her Parents Luis and Paula Nanez. Also preceded in death by her husband Leonardo Hernandez. Left to cherish her memory are her Sons, Mario A. Hernandez and wife Yolanda of Weslaco, Texas, Orlando Hernandez of Del Rio, Texas. Daughter, Mary Lou H. Turrubiates and husband Mike of Weslaco, Texas. Brothers, Jose Luis Nanez and Ignacio Nanez both of Del Rio, Texas. Sister, Eloisa N. Martinez of California. Also survived by 8-grandchildren and 6-Great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary 7:00PM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
