Elida G. Duron , age 87, entered into rest October 6, 2007 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on November 7, 1919 in Del Rio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Juan and Delfina Garcia. Stepfather: Carlos Galindo, Husband: Manuel Duron, Brothers: Juan and Sylvino Garcia, Sister: Amelia Garcia. She is survived by her son: Hervey and wife Margaret Duron. Grandchildren: Kim Herrera and husband Lloyd, Debbie Johnston and husband Trevor, Hervey Duron Jr. and wife Tina, Michelle Jones and husband Darver, Manuel Duron and wife Emily. Also left to cherish her memory are her 11 Great-Grandchildren. The gentlemen having the honor to serve as Pallbearers are: Darren Jones, Warren J. Trevor, Ben Yates, Lloyd Herrera, Dave Williams and Abe Ramirez. Honorary Pallbearers: Manuel Logan Duron, Zachary Duron, Hunter Duron, Hervey Duron III, and Ryan Johnston. Visitation will be held Monday, October 8, 2007 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 7:00 PM. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 10:00 AM St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
