Elias "Güero" Martinez Hernandez,age 30, passed away on December 26, 2025, at his home in New Braunfels, TX. Born in Nezahualcóyotl, MX. to his devoted parents Cornelio Martinez and Lorenza Hernandez, Elias was a man of deep curiosity and a vibrant, hardworking spirit.

He was the beloved husband of Laura Martinez. Together in New Braunfels, they shared a life full of partnership and big dreams. Elias was a naturally gifted "fixer" who was fascinated by how things functioned. Whether he was under the hood of an automobile or repairing something around the house, he had the patience and ingenuity to bring things back to life.

​His creativity truly shone in the kitchen, where he was a passionate "food inventor." He was famous for his homemade salsas and unique recipes, all created with a singular goal in mind: launching a food truck and restaurant business alongside his wife, Laura, and two of his brothers Adrian & Tony. His family will forever cherish the memory of his kitchen experiments and the vision of the future they built together.

​Elias is survived by his wife, Laura; his parents, Cornelio and Lorenza; his 4 brothers & 4 sisters; a large, loving family who will miss his brilliance and his heart.
