Elias Balderas Faz October 2, 1939 July 23, 2012 Elias Balderas Faz age 72, entered into rest July 23, 2012 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born October 2, 1939 in Del Rio, Texas. He was preceded in death by his Parents Antonio and Juanita Balderas Faz. Son: Javier �"Jay"� Faz. Brothers Antonio Faz Jr., Juan Faz, and Daniel Faz. Sister Lydia Faz. Left to cherish his memory are his children Elias Faz Jr. (Alicia), Velma Vasquez, Delma Lopez (Jacob), Robert Sanchez and Ruben Sanchez. Brother Benjamin Faz. Sisters Maria Pena and Emilia Gomez (Juan), and his forever friend and ex-wife Sylvia Faz. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces. Elias loved to sing and play his guitar. He worked for the Del Rio News Herald prior to his disability retirement. Gentlemen with the honor of Pallbearers: Alejandro Faz, Antonio Faz III, David Gomez, Danny Faz Jr., Freddy Cervantez and Pochie Faz. Visitation will be held Friday, July 27, 2012 from 8:30am-9:30am at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, July 27, 2012 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
