Elia E. Ward, age 80, entered into rest on Sunday, January 20, 2019 in Uvalde, Texas. She was born on September 11, 1938 in Brackettville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents Luis and Elodia Esparza. Sisters; Oralia Jackson and Evangelina Rodriguez. Brothers; Jesus "Chuy" Esparza, Pedro "Pete" Esparza, Ernesto Esparza. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 36 years, John Ward. Sisters; Eleanor (Harland) Stockwell, Irene (Earl) Woodard. Brothers; Luis Esparza, Jr., and David (Susan) Esparza. Also survived by In laws; Rafaela Uribe Esparza, Eduardo Jackson and Maria Coronado Esparza. Numerous nieces and nephews. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019, 9:30 am at St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 am. Interment of ashes will be held at Kinney County Cemetery in Brackettville, Texas following Memorial Service.
